Sage is among some of the best charitable companies in Colorado.
Community Citizenship

In every community where we live, work and play, Sage, one of Denver’s charitable companies, age dedicates time and resources to better every community, for everyone.

From supporting one another within the Sage family to supporting the communities we serve, our associates are committed to donating our time, skills, knowledge and resources to help make the world a better place. Some of Sage’s original concepts for giving include:

Dollars for Dreams:

Since its inception in 2002, Sage’s program Dollars for Dreams has raised more than $2 million for organizations like the National Children’s Cancer Society, Make-a-Wish, Special Olympics, JDRF, Children’s Hospital Travel Fund and UNICEF.

Dollars for Dreams is a guest and associate donation program that supports Sage’s commitment to positively impacting the communities in which we live, work and play. Recipients change on a quarterly basis and fundraising can consist of employee contributions, bake sales, auctions and any creative way a hotel wants to raise money.

Best in Class:
Best in Class is Sage’s Quarter 3 Dollars for Dreams recipient. Each hotel is partnered with a local school of their choice who serves low-income families. More than 75 at-risk schools are impacted yearly by our associates, from facility upgrades, tutoring or providing supplies. Sage invests in these schools because we know our schools are where our future leaders grow from.

Denver’s Road Home – PJ Party. Denver’s annual PJ Party began at the Residence Inn Denver City Center hotel in 2005 and supports homeless assistance providers so they may continue to offer housing, services and employment assistance to those in need. The PJ Party spurs a day of awareness while the Denver community is encouraged to wear their PJ’s to work, and everyone who attends the party wears PJ’s as well.

Concerts for Kids – Denver Day of Rock. Concerts for Kids is a community organization created by Sage’s president and CEO, Walter Isenberg along with his wife Christie who is president of the non-profit. Through a close relationship with Concerts for Kids, Sage is able to help children receive quality healthcare and education as they distribute volunteer and resource opportunities to charities that benefit underprivileged children. Each year, Denver Day of Rock is sponsored by Concerts for Kids as they shut down the streets of Denver for live concerts and one stage is right outside of our Global Office doors.
