The Sage experience transcends the walls of our hotels and restaurants. Our hearts and our energy are also dedicated to our communities.
From supporting one another within the Sage family to supporting the communities we serve, our associates are committed to donating our time, skills, knowledge, and money to help make the world a better place.
At a time when many companies are pulling back on their charitable outreach and giving, national hospitality leader Sage Hospitality has significantly expanded their community service program by launching Best In Class, Sage Hospitality’s School Partnership Program. Best In Class is a nation-wide program that connects our over 6,000 associates with at-risk and urban schools.
Here at Sage Hospitality our concern is for the comfort of our guests and the way in which we treat our environment. Our Green Effort involves reducing our carbon footprint at every one of our hotel locations by asking our guests to leave our convenient door-hangers out to help us conserve energy.
By placing the hanger on your door, you will be declining guest room cleaning for the day. This will help reduce the hotels’ energy and water usage.
We let our guests get into the giving, too.
Best in Class School
Each Sage property is partnered with a local school of their choosing, that serves low-income families. Over 55 at-risk schools are being impacted by our associates efforts. From painting school rooms, tutoring students to providing backpacks and other necessities to students, Sage continues to give back to these schools.

Dollars for Dreams is a guest donation program that supports Sage’s commitment to positively impacting the communities in which we live and work. This program recognizes the generosity of our guests and offers them a convenient way to give. Since its inception in 2002, Dollars for Dreams has raised nearly half a million dollars for organizations like the National Children’s Cancer Society, Make-a-Wish, Special Olympics, JDRF, Children’s Hospital Travel Fund, and UNICEF.
While we’d like to be able to support every part of our community, we have a few groups in particular we’re proud to give our time and energy to currently:
Sage supports Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation annual with donations through Dollars for Dreams. JDRF is the worldwide leader for research to cure type 1 diabetes. It sets the global agenda for diabetes research, and is the largest charitable funder and advocate of diabetes science worldwide.
Concerts For Kids
Concerts For Kids is a phenomenal community organization started by Walter and Christie Isenberg. Through our relationship with Concerts For Kids, Sage is able to help more kids receive quality healthcare and education. Concerts For Kids raises much needed funds for local children’s health and education by selling tickets to concerts and local musical events. Since 2004, metro Denver has enjoyed world-class music while supporting the kids of our community.
Sage Supports Denver’s Road Home in its fight to end homelessness with Residence Inn Denver City Center’s PJ Party . It seems only natural that a hospitality company should be committed to the efforts of ending homelessness in the communities where we live and work. In 2005, the team at the Residence Inn Denver City Center began hosting an annual event called the PJ Party that support Denver’s Road Home, the city’s program to meet the needs of the homeless. The money raised at the PJ Party goes to homeless providers so they may continue offering housing, services and employment assistance to homeless people and help prevent additional homelessness in the community. Attended by the Mayor, the PJ Party has quickly become one of the most fun and highly anticipated events in town where guests mingle in their pajamas and the women enjoy an evening out in slippers instead of high heels.
