The Blackstone, A Renaissance Hotel - Chicago, IL
This historic redevelopment will take place in the former Blackstone Hotel located in the South Loop area in downtown Chicago. The property is being developed in accordance with typical Renaissance brand standards, aiming for the four-star level of service. Restoration of its Modern French style of Beaux-Arts architecture as well as its former standings as one of Chicago's premier hotels is the end goal. The project is estimated to cost $119 million with $18 million in TIF from the city as well as $15 million in historic tax credits.
