“The Nines, A Luxury Collection Hotel” (Starwood Hotels & Resorts) is an important part of the exciting revitalization of downtown Portland, Oregon. The Nines is situated within the top nine stories of the historic Meier & Frank building, with Macy’s department store occupying the lower five stories. A street level entrance will provide elevators to shuttle guests up to the 8th floor atrium lobby. The hotel will include 331 guestrooms, 14,000 square feet of meeting space, an atrium restaurant and a rooftop lounge.
