Courtyard by Marriott – Portland City Center, Marriott Hotels - Portland, OR

The Courtyard by Marriott – Portland City Center is an important part of the exciting revitalization of downtown Portland, Oregon.  Sage Hospitality has carefully recreated the 13-story Toronto National Building (ca. 1981.) The redevelopment included a complete interior and exterior renovation by SERA Architects. The entire facade was completely replaced, three more stories were added to the building, and an adjacent building was rebuilt and added to the hotel.

Located adjacent to the US Bankcorp Tower Building, the Courtyard by Marriott – Portland City Center is an innovative and eco-friendly new urban hotel property conveniently located in the heart of Portland’s business district and one block off the shopping district. The hotel is poised to receive the coveted Gold LEED certification making the property the only Gold LEED certified hotel in Portland. With 256 guest rooms, meeting and convention space, ballroom, fitness center, locally commissioned photographic murals and the onsite Sage Restaurant Group concept restaurant, The Original, a Dinerat, the Courtyard Marriott – Portland City Center will become one of the Marriott’s most unique and creative properties.
The Courtyard opened on May 27, 2009.
