Chief Financial Officer, Sage Hospitality
Harris White is Chief Financial Officer at Sage Hospitality, where he leads all capital, financial, asset management and legal activities for both the real estate and management companies, which have invested in and manage more than 60 hotels and 10 restaurant concepts nationwide.
White joined Sage Hospitality in July 2011 from Morgan Keegan & Company where he served as a Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions advising public, private and private equity backed companies with a variety of sale, acquisition, recapitalization and capital raising transactions.
White originally joined Sage in 1995 as a Regional Controller and was promoted to CFO and served in that capacity until 2003. Between 2003 and 2006, he served as Chief Financial Officer for The Wellbridge Companies, a leading owner and operator of full-service athletic clubs nationwide. While at Wellbridge, White was responsible for leading all finance, accounting, risk management, legal and IT functions and directed due diligence activities related to the recapitalization of the Company in 2006. White began his career in the hospitality industry with The Promus Companies, Inc., the owner of Embassy Suites, Hampton Inns, Homewood Suites and Harrah’s Hotels and Casinos.
White earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University and a Master of Business Administration from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Harris is pleased to serve on Junior Achievement’s Board of Directors.
