Ms. Parker is responsible for all aspects of financial services for the company.
Her direct oversight includes the departments of Property Accounting, Payroll, Information Technology, Risk Services, Corporate Accounting, and Internal Compliance Audit. These departments are responsible for the financial accuracy of all profit and loss statements, budgeting, and cash management for all of Sage’s full- and limited-service hotels. In addition, she directs the processing of payroll for all of Sage’s hotel and corporate associates, the purchasing of all technology-related capital, property insurance and risk service s, corporate financial statements, and annual hotel and ownership audits. Ms. Parker works directly with owners to discuss financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and budgets.
Joining us in 1997 as Regional Controller, Ms. Parker assumed responsibility for supervising all aspects of a 26-hotel portfolio of Fairfield Inn Hotels. In addition to managing this limited service portfolio, Ms. Parker also assisted with other Sage-managed hotels, such as Holiday Inn, Marriott Courtyard, and several boutique hotels.
Ms. Parker’s hospitality career includes serving as Regional Finance Manager and Financial Analyst for Promus Hotel Corporation. With Embassy Suites Hotels, she worked as Hotel Controller and Staff Analyst. While in these positions, she was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, managing internal and external audit processes, and analyzing financial statements and capital asset purchases.
Ms. Parker received her Master of Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from Memphis State University and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.
