
Mr. Robinette joined Sage after a 25-year career with Marriott International. Most recently he served as pre-opening General Manager at the Renaissance Suites Hotel and the St. Louis Grand Hotel, a 1,081-room convention headquarters complex in St. Louis, Missouri. His responsibilities included a wide range of duties, from conducting project reviews with the developer to coordinating pre-opening sales and marketing efforts.
Prior to his experience in St. Louis, Mr. Robinette served as Vice President of Market Management for Marriott. In this position he oversaw 52 hotels across seven brands in Colorado and also supported 21 management franchise companies. Mr. Robinette's duties also included development support for 23 hotels over the course of three years.
Mr. Robinette has held several other management-level positions, including General Manager of the 613-room Denver Marriott City Center, pre-opening General Manager of the Dallas Marriott Solana, as well as Regional Director of Transient Sales and Regional Director of Rooms Operations for a portfolio of 22 hotels.
Mr. Robinette is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has served as Chairman of the Colorado Convention Center expansion fundraising committee, and was a member of the Mayor's task force for the expansion of the Colorado Convention Center. Mr. Robinette is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration.
