The Logan, Philadelphia’s Hotel – Curio

When the Four Season Philadelphia decided to move out of its home of 30 years in Logan Square, Sage and HOST saw the opportunity to move in and create “Philadelphia’s Hotel”.  Partnering with Hilton’s Curio Collection added additional distribution and hotel stands today as the definition of modern luxury in the City of Brotherly Love.

THE CHALLENGE

The Four Seasons Philadelphia opened more than 30 years from the recent renovation of the building, the structure was fabulous but the interiors needed an upgrade.  When Four Seasons chose to move their location in Philly to the new Comcast tower, Sage and HOST Hotels & Resorts saw an opportunity to renovate and re-flag the building with a soft brand that was truly Philadelphia’s hotel.  In 2015 the building closed and underwent a full $50 million renovation including the spa, meeting space, public spaces and a rooms refresh.

THE SOLUTION

The renovation included the addition of The Stenton Ballroom which was once restaurant space, as well the incorporation of a beautiful lobby bar, Commons Lounge.  Sage Restaurant Group also opened their third installment of Urban Farmer to rave reviews.  The Logan, Philadelphia’s hotel was named for Philadelphian James Logan and the brand was created to represent the love and grit of the city itself.  Sage also partnered with Hilton’s Curio Collection, to maximize on brand distribution and leverage Hilton’s rewards system.  In 2016 property revenues hit the highest in The Logan’s history and the hotel continues to be part of the heart of Philly.
